Which AMS (Athlete Management Systems) vendors (Kitman Labs, Fusion Sport/Smartabase, Kinduct, Apollo, MyCoach, etc.) are leading in terms of pricing affordability, quality of analytics, product quality, customer support and vision?
The Upside surveyed 100 pro teams and leagues to assess their use of AMS monitoring technology and their perceptions and sentiments on the vendors involved in the market.
Upside Global surveyed teams from the NBA, NHL, NFL, MLS, MLB, Premier League, Ligue 1, Swiss soccer league, Turkish soccer league, South American soccer, NCAA, Pro tennis, pro rugby, and others, to assess the performance and share of mind of key AMS vendors, including Kitman Labs, Fusion Sport/Smartabase, Kinduct, Apollo, MyCoach, and others.
Highlights of the 2022 Upside AMS vendors survey include:
1. Key finding: 41% of the teams surveyed want more “advanced analytics” with their current AMS system. 22% of the teams surveyed also want “better remote monitoring” capability with their current AMS system.

2. Key finding: 54% of the teams surveyed spend <$25k annually on their AMS system. The other 32% of the teams surveyed spend $25k-$50k annually on their AMS system while only 10% of the teams surveyed spend $50k-$100k annually on their current AMS system.

3. Key finding: 54% of the teams surveyed plan to renew their current AMS system. The other 37% of the teams surveyed still do not know whether or not they will renew their current AMS system. The remaining 10% of the teams surveyed do not plan to renew their AMS system.
