This week we are delighted to announced our new speakers at our 2025 Upside US Sports Tech Summit in Sunrise, FL We have a lot more speakers (teams, leagues, vendors, VCs, team owners, athletes) across various leagues (NBA, NFL, MLS, MLB, NCAA, pro tennis..) to be announced.
New speakers:
First we renamed our first rehab panel as “Rehab panel: Key metrics, science of comebacks”.
We also added a new rehab panel entitled “Tech rehab of the future by 2030”.
Dr. Richard Albright is the founder and CEO of Summus Medical Laser, a global leader in the development of next-generation laser therapy. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from International College and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University. For eight years prior to the start of his company, he operated in private practice as a chiropractic physician, however, after observing the power of progressive therapeutic laser in his own practice, he made the decision to transition into business, becoming a global leader in the development of next generation laser therapy. Since that decision twenty plus years ago, he’s made it his life’s work to curate the growth of the company that has become Summus Laser, again and again cutting a leading path through the market with innovative new products, services, therapies, and business support.
Emma Meehan is Founder, CEO & CTO of Precision Sports Technology the company behind KinetikIQ. KinetikIQ is a mobile application bringing the motion capture lab into your pocket, in real-time: minimising time on assessments, optimising rehabilitation processes and maximising team availability and performance.
Pete DeNagy is a technology executive and serial entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience in communications and technology. He has held leadership roles at prominent companies such as Samsung, Accenture, Capgemini, HP/EDS, and Verizon/GTE. DeNagy, a participant in 4 exits, is active many new ventures including Voxxle, U-wifi, AI Planet, Vroova, Ceres Technology, Ceravis Health, Seccara, Smartecta, A-2-Z.co, Maxxsure, Climatekk, and others all focusing on innovation leveraging AI enabled, 5G, Cyber Security, IoT, and Smart Building solutions. As a consultant, he is the President of Acommence Advisors, where he provides strategic consulting on emerging technologies (to companies like LG, Comcast, Google, HTC, Kyocera, Ericsson, QCT) and a partner at Imagine Wireless where he advises Airports (Like DFW, Miami, Houston, Minneapolis, and others), stadiums and venues on private wireless, IoT, Big Data, Prescriptive Analytics, and AI strategies for actionable outcomes. DeNagy has spoken globally on AI, IoT, Big Data and Private Wireless and has served on industry boards for Microsoft, TIA, Tech Titans, Southern Methodist University (SMU), and the CBRS/OnGo Alliance. He collaborated on the book “Managing the Mobile Workforce” authors David Clemmons and Michael Kroth, PhD (along with Stephen M. R. Covey), McGraw Hill, 2010 and is well published. He holds a degree in Politics and History from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia and resides in Frisco, TX.
