This week we are delighted to announced our new speakers at our 2025 Upside US Sports Tech Summit in Sunrise, FL We have a lot more speakers (teams, leagues, vendors, VCs, team owners, athletes) across various leagues (NBA, NFL, MLS, MLB, NCAA, pro tennis..) to be announced.
New speakers:
Joshua A. Bonhotal is a Director at Sequence Equity, where he leads investments across sports teams, leagues, and sport adjacent technologies. Prior to this role, he served as VP of Operations at Future, scaling the company from seed stage to series C and over $100m raised from top Silicon Valley VC's. He also served as the Director of Sports Performance for Purdue University's men's basketball team, where he was instrumental in developing six NBA players. Earlier in his career, Bonhotal was a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Chicago Bulls, working closely with MVP Derrick Rose. His expertise has been featured in prominent publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated, and ESPN.
Joe Rogowski is a highly respected sports performance expert, former NBA strength coach, and athletic trainer, currently serving as the CEO of Athletic Heart. With a career spanning elite sports, Rogowski has worked with NBA teams like the Orlando Magic and Houston Rockets, specializing in strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and player recovery. He later became the Chief Medical Officer of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), where he played a key role in shaping player health initiatives and optimizing performance strategies. Now leading Athletic Heart, he focuses on cutting-edge sports science solutions to enhance athlete longevity, cardiovascular health, and overall performance.
