📖 Book of the week: Strength Coach for Christ, By Dr. Bill Burgos
📘 Book Recap: Strength Coach for Christ
Strength Coach for Christ is a 31-day devotional that uniquely blends the mindset of an elite professional strength coach with the heart of a committed follower of Christ. Drawing from decades spent in NBA locker rooms, training facilities, and high-pressure performance environments, Dr. Bill Burgos challenges readers to redefine strength—not as wins, titles, or physical power, but as faithful obedience to God.
Rather than focusing solely on athletic success, the book emphasizes spiritual discipline, humility, and consistency, showing how faith must shape how we train, compete, lead, and live.

Using real-life stories from professional sports, the book explores how faith is tested in environments driven by performance, ego, and results—and how believers can remain grounded in Christ amid pressure and expectations.

A personal or professional story
