🎉 Happy New Year! What's coming at Upside in 2025.

Dear colleague,

As we are nearing the end of 2024, we at Upside wanted to wish everyone especially our clients, the partners, and teams, investors/VCs and startup founders that we work with a great new year’s eve and a happy new year with lots of success in 2025.

2025 is set to be a great new year at Upside with lots of new activities and initiatives. Here is a recap on what’s coming at Upside in 2025.

2025 Upside Miami Tech Summit (October 23, 2025):

On October 23, 2025 we will be hosting our annual 2025 Upside Miami tech summit at a world’s class stadium in Miami. We expect nearly 300 attendees, 30 exhibitors, top VCs/family offices, with some great panel discussions on various topics (Gen AI, next gen biomarkers, rehab, fan experience..sports tech investments). We plan to announce our first speakers (NCAA, NBA..) on January 8, 2025 so stay tuned!

VIP Dinners at key sports events in 2025.

In 2025 we also plan to host a series of VIP dinners/networking events at the 2025 NFL Combine, NBA Summer league, MLB Meetings and MLS Symposium with top teams, GMs, players, investors, family offices and startup founders. It will be invite only and it will be a great opportunity for anyone to network, and present innovative technologies. More analysis, studies, and interviews from experts

In 2025 we plan to publish more analysis, studies, and interviews with top experts. We have some great analysis, studies and interviews coming for you in 1Q25.

More focus on the NCAA and emerging sports leagues and women teams.

Another key area for focus for us in 2025 is going to be on the NCAA, emerging sports leagues and women teams. We feel like there is a knowledge gap in the market today. So expect to see more research, studies and interviews on these areas in 2025.

New Features coming on the Upside tech scouting platform.

Another key initiative that we are working on is to soon release some new features on the Upside tech scouting platform. We believe it will provide significant value and bring our community in sports tech closer together. Those new features will be announced in 1Q25 so stay tuned!
