The youth dropout findings about deselection transparency are huge. I've seen academies where kids get cut with basically zero feedback, which kills their confidence even if they had the talent to develop elsehwere. The gender gap in dropout reasons is telling too. Limited professional pathways in women's football aren't just a revenue problem; they're a talent retention crisis bc players rationally opt out when the ROI isn't there. Thermal asymmetry monitoring in study 1 seems like it could catch overload before it shows up in wellness questionnaires tbh.
