Here are the quotes from the interview with Andy:

Q1. Tell me about your background.

"I’m an ex-professional football player who transitioned into physiotherapy after an injury ended my playing career. In 1998, I started my physio training and was fortunate to be introduced to professional football early in my career with my first job in the Premier League at Bolton Wanderers. That early exposure to a proactive and forward-thinking environment shaped the foundation of my approach to managing player health and performance."

"Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked across different sports and cultures as a physiotherapist, strength and conditioning coach, and sports scientist. I’ve spent 10 years in the Premier League with clubs like Southampton and Manchester City and over a decade in the NBA (NY Knicks). I’ve also done consultancy work for six years across various sports. My passion has always been to help athletes fulfill their potential by prolonging careers, reducing injury risks, and maximizing performance."

Q2. Tell me about your company and product.

"We’re a software company specializing in biomechanics and movement analysis, with a focus on return-to-play rehabilitation. Our platform leverages hardware such as cameras and sensors to deliver detailed, real-time insights into movement and performance."

"The product integrates camera and sensor data, allowing us to layer and synchronize information for granular, accurate analysis. Practitioners can use the software to visualize data in real-time, generate reports, and receive recommendations for corrective training. We’ve designed the software to be intuitive and actionable for practitioners, enabling them to achieve better outcomes for their athletes."

Q3. What are the benefits for your customers to use your product?

"Our product has three main use cases: performance analysis, performance and risk screening, and rehabilitation guidance. For performance analysis, we support running, jumping, and sport-specific actions. Performance and risk screening focus on identifying deficits and injury risks, while rehabilitation guidance helps practitioners guide players back to optimal performance."

"The system is highly flexible and can be used in diverse environments, such as weight rooms, training rooms, ice rinks, or fields. It’s practitioner-focused, providing insights and guidelines based on high-level research and expertise. Plus, it’s affordable, which makes it accessible to a broader range of users."

Q4. What do your customers like the most about your product?

"They appreciate the product’s flexibility and ease of use. For example, they can quickly screen an entire team and run multiple tests, either ones we recommend or ones they create, in a short period of time."

"The biofeedback and live training features are also very popular. These tools provide athletes with real-time feedback to ensure they’re performing exercises correctly, and the gamification element keeps them engaged. Practitioners find the combination of accuracy, convenience, and actionable insights incredibly valuable for improving athlete performance and recovery."

"For those seeking personalized guidance, we offer expert consultancy and hands-on support to help you maximize your results. Our team of experienced practitioners is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and unlock the full potential of our platform."

Q5. What types of teams do you currently work with?

"We’re working across a variety of sports, focusing right now on soccer teams, including several Premier League teams and MLS teams, as well as other teams in Europe. We’re also working with NBA and NHL teams, and we’re starting to branch out into NCAA college teams. While we’re mainly focusing on professional and collegiate sports at the moment, we aim to expand into the amateur market in the future."

“We also plan to explore other verticals, such as military and industrial athletes, while continuing to support high schools and private schools with sufficient funding but limited access to expertise or technology”

Q6. Tell me about competitive advantage and business model.

"Our competitive advantage lies in offering an end-to-end solution, from assessment to live training, at an affordable price. Many systems focus solely on assessment, but we integrate training and provide real-time feedback to address deficits and improve performance."

"We use research-grade validated hardware, which ensures accuracy, and we’ve designed the product based on my 25 years of experience in elite sports. Our customer service is a key part of our ethos—we actively listen to feedback, make improvements based on customer needs, and focus on delivering a premium yet accessible product. This approach has allowed us to stand out in the market."

"Our platform offers a unique advantage with its ready-to-use assessments and training sessions, built on scientific principles. This allows users to quickly get started and see results faster”.

Q7. What are your plans for the next 12 months?

"We’re currently in a seed funding round, which is set to close soon. Over the next 12 months, our primary focus will be scaling the product, improving features, and expanding in professional and collegiate sports markets. We’re also preparing to enter the amateur market to make our technology more accessible to a wider range of athletes."

"Part of our roadmap includes enhancing the AI capabilities of our software to streamline decision-making and better support practitioners. We want to ensure our product continues to deliver cutting-edge solutions across all levels of sports."

"Imagine a centralized hub for all your video and media, where you can analyze performance with powerful tools. We're pioneering a comprehensive platform for movement biomechanics and performance, with the vision to integrate video analysis seamlessly into your workflow. This will enable you to compare training assessments with in-game dynamics, unlocking deeper insights into athlete performance."
